Import / Export AIr Freight Coordinator

We are working with a medium sized forwarder who has an exciting opportunity for an Air Freight Coordinator.

We are looking for previous freight forwarding experience and knowledge Import & Exports Multimodal business ideally or at least either Imports or Exports.

Role involves.
· Ability to co-ordinate with network partners, UK clients and internal teams to arrange a booking to be shipped from origin to destination, always maintaining clear and effective communication.
· Ensuring all shipment adhere to international trade regulations, customs procedures and export control laws.
· Quote shipments adhere prior to movement and applying agree rates where necessary.
· Building relationships with airlines for cargo bookings and rate negotiations.
· Liaise with partners to reach out for quotes and rates.
· Ensure all Air Export job is completed.
· Ensure all customs declarations tasks are completed correctly.
· Monitoring the progress of shipments from origin to destination, providing updates.
· Liaise with HMRC and maintenance of customs procedures.
· Passing invoices from suppliers and providers.

Experience.
· Proven freight forwarding experience.
· Knowledge and experience of Import & or Exports multimodal business.
· Experience required of Air Freight sales and products.
· Good organisation, IT skills.

Monday to Friday 8.30am-5.30pm all office based.
Salary depends on experience.
