Global provider who is known for their comprehensive logistics solutions worldwide is now seeking to recruit a Trainee Transport Operator for their M22 station .Salary band GBP25,500-GBP26,500. TTP contract. Brilliant opportunity for the ones who want to enter the logistics sector.
Purpose of the job. Process Road domestic movements from start to finish process courier movements via 3rd party transport suppliers. Process web booking from customers. Interact with the customers building up a good relationship. Working closely with company's transport and warehouse. Invoicing and dealing with account queries. Completion of reports.
Requirements
Previous knowledge or experience in transport or courier logistics, beneficial but not essential.
Customer Services focused.
Well organised and have attention to detail
Self-motivated with a can do attitude
Able to function in a fast paced environment
Able to use own initiative and be a team player
Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
IT literate
