Paying between £25,000 and £35,000 per year, depending on experience.

Freight Forwarding experience is required. 

Based in South Birmingham.

Full time – 37.5 hours per week.

We are working with a Freight Forwarding organisation based in South Birmingham who are seeking to recruit an Ocean Export Operator. 

The role of Ocean Export Operator will cover arranging the movement of FCL and LCL containers from initial enquiry, bookings with shipping lines through to the completion of all export documentation and administration. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Exporting LCL & FCL Seafreight shipments.
• Liaising directly with Shipping Lines.
• Quotes, costing and bookings.
• Export Seafreight Documentation.
• Export Customs Entries.
• Meeting Customer expectations.
• Freight Administration and Customer Services.

Our client requires a candidate with proven experience working in Ocean Freight operations. The successful candidate will have experience working in start to finish Ocean Freight shipments.
