Temp to Perm/Straight perm contract available. 

Immediate start available.

Paying £28,000 per year. 

Full-time, 10:30am – 19:00pm, with 30 minutes lunch. 

Based in Birmingham (B8).

We are working with a Birmingham-based Transport and Haulage organisation who are seeking a Transport Coordinator to join their Transport team.

This role requires a candidate with experience in a high-volume multi-drop environment, ideally within the pallet network.

Duties of the Transport Coordinator will include: 

• Controlling collections functions of up to 30 vehicles.
• Managing up to 30 drivers.
• Proactively manage the allocation of circa 45-50 separate collections stops daily.
• Ensuring there is both space and coverage for 200 pallets per night.
• Answer incoming queries via telephone, email and internal messaging systems.
• Striving to resolve issues promptly.
• Liaise with multiple departments, such as the warehouse, customer service team and drivers.
• Updating systems.
• Monitoring driver performance.

We are seeking a candidate with experience in either the pallet network, or a candidate with prior experience working within a high-volume multi-drop role.
