Warehouse Supervisor
Location: Heston
Salary: Up to GBP38,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 18:30 (10-hour shifts including paid breaks)
Overtime: Paid overtime available; occasional Saturdays and late Fridays as required
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee a team of 7, including 2 administrative staff, in a busy air cargo operation. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on leadership experience within the air cargo industry, ensuring efficient, compliant, and safe warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead, manage, and motivate a team of 7 staff (including 2 admin)
· Oversee daily air cargo warehouse operations
· Ensure compliance with aviation security protocols and warehouse regulations
· Operate and manage forklifts safely and efficiently
· Provide cover on occasional Saturdays and extended hours when operational needs demand
· Coordinate with other departments to meet delivery deadlines and service levels
Essential Requirements
· Previous warehouse leadership experience within the air cargo industry
· Forklift operation experience
· Working knowledge of X-ray, ETD, and FREDD screening processes
· Ability to obtain a 5-year employment referencing and pass a clear DBS check
· Willingness to work extended hours and occasional Saturdays (paid overtime)
· Strong understanding of health & safety and airside security procedures
