To coordinate logistics movement both Import & Export - Essex - Salary 25k - 31k
Ensure excellent customer service.
Work as part of in-house team at key customer Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Planning and arrangement of international consignments according to client instructions and requirements
Completion of export documents
Completion of export customs entry to be under various CPCs
End to end monitoring of outbound movements
Day to day invoicing and job costing
Booking Collections and deliveries to site on booking system. Providing loading and deliveries references
Creating job files to be sent to customs department for goods being imported for our client
Updating our clients CSRs on shipments in transit ETAs etc.
Sending job files to FCA freight forwarders advising on goods ready to be collected and arranging collections from various GB and EU plants.
Sending paperwork to customs for IMP / EXP clearance
Arranging FTL / LCL vehicles for weekly collections. Reefer and ambient
Ensure all enquiries or other communications are actioned promptly and efficiently
Ensuring we meet company DATA Quality KPI with required tracking information
Ensuring any PM queries are cleared within KPI timeframe
Demonstrate flexibility and team skills within the site department to ensure consistent and uninterrupted service to the client and their customers
Administer the operating procedures as defined by the client
Customer service is paramount and relationship building is essential from day one
Any other delegated tasks as deemed reasonable as assigned by the reporting superior. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Good telephone manner and customer service skills are essential
Attention to detail
Friendly, calm and professional manner
Ability to handle pressure and good time-management
Ability to adapt to change and work effectively as part of a team
Enthusiasm and self-motivation
Must have previous experience within freight logistics. both Import & Exports.
