Temp Warehouse Administrator 3 months min
Working within a busy Warehouse environment, the purpose of the role is to maintain stock records and invoicing functionalities.
Key Tasks:
· Liaise with customers to obtain shipment authorisations
· Monitor and manage cargo movements into and out of the Warehouse
· Develop and maintain close relationships with customers
· Provide regular communication to customers of service progress
· Resolving any customer service issues for the customer
· Obtain rates and prepare quotations on request or on receipt of a booking
· Maintain P & Ls weekly via in house systems
· Prepare for invoicing
· To perform any other duties not defined in the job description as reasonably requested / expected by the Company
Personal Qualities:
· A methodical approach with good communication skills
· The ability to communicate effectively
· An understanding of the importance of attention to detail and quality of product
· A flexible hand on approach to work and willing to complete a variety of tasks
· Ability to work to strict deadlines and under pressure
· Ability to work within a team and on own initiative
Knowledge and Experience:
· Previous experience of warehouse administration is desirable
· Previous experience of working with Cargowise system is an advantage but not essential as training will be given
· Proficient in the use of work/excel and email
· Previous administrative experience is essential
· Excellent organisational, problem solving and decision-making skills
· Previous experience of working within a fast-paced environment
