Our Client is looking for an expereinced Transport Planner to join there busy department
4 On 4 Off 07.00 - 19.00
Previous experience essential
GBP27000.00 Basic with GBP2700.00 shift allowance
Duties will include but are not limited to
Manages and takes responsibility for all transport bookings
Acts as internal & haulier facing front end to all operational processes on active shipments.
Instructs outside hauliers transportation requirements and expectations, to ensure pickup/delivery of the shipment at origin/destination.
Controls, prepares, and distributes all transportation documents (collection/delivery notes) complying with regulations and internal procedures.
Oversees accurate costings of collections/deliveries in line with agreed tariffs and quotations.
