Import Ocean Customer Relationship Co-Ordinator
Must have two years freight forwarding experience
We have an opening within the Import Customer Relationship Team at our Kent Branch. This interesting role provides an excellent opportunity for an individual who is either competent in Overland and/or Ocean Imports or has an understanding of Freight Forwarding. The successful person will be confident in building and maintaining relationships with customers in order to generate and increase the business.
Key responsibilities will consist of:
Liaising with overseas partners, suppliers & customers
Completion of entries and shipping documentation
Communicating with overseas agents as per requirements, updating them and solving problems that arise
Receiving and checking relevant import documentation
Charging files
Passing purchase invoices and dealing with any queries
To be considered for this position you will need to demonstrate:
Experience in import operations
Attention to detail, adaptable and keen to learn
Commercial awareness with good communication and negotiation skills
Excellent customer service skills together with a real team player ethos
Hours of work are Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm
