Main duties include; completing both import and export customs documentation; submitting accurate documentation onto the company database; ensuring customers are provided with correct and up to date information on customs procedures; taking responsibility for the documentation relating to the export and import of goods worldwide - processing clearance documentation, preparation of C88 / SAD / EAD / CFSP / NCTS / EMCS for example; advising on the documentation necessary for direct import/export, transit movements (e.g. ATA Carnets, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Conformity etc); utilising your knowledge of customs tariffs, CPC codes and security declarations; update job files and enter data accurately into customs system; liaise with customers to resolve any queries within SLAs.

Previous experience within a similar role.
Knowledge of customs tariffs, CPC codes and security declarations.
Knowledge of Customs software HMRC Chief & experience of using software packages such as Destin8, ASM, CargoWise, Sequoia, MiC, Spire, Data Freight &/or SAP.
Strong attention to detail.
Great interpersonal profile.
