Job Description

General Accounts Clerk-Book Keeper wanted to join a well-established organization with proven success in the import & export fashion world!

The position includes the following
Purchase ledger. Processing suppliers and expense invoices / matching & batching / checking extensions / entering / filing. Paying suppliers invoices.Raising debit notes where necessary.
Payment runs every two / four weekly / Bacs / online / cheques. Credit card payments.
Commissions payment for salesmen. Cash book entries daily and monthly balances.
Nominal ledger work.VAT, Intrastat and EU sales returns.
Bank reconciliations / statements daily.
Multi - currency accounts to balance.
Petty cash balance to be kept up to date.
Processing personnel expense claims and travel advances.
Prepare accounts monthly up to trail balances and final accounts.
Monthly payroll co-ordination with outside bureau.

Sales ledger entries daily.
Statements to send customers.

Credit control.
Chasing customers for payments and sending out statements.
Fortnightly and Month end sales figures for MD.
Keeping all ledgers / accounts / filing up to date.

Must have many good 3 years of experience ideally an appropriate qualification e.g., AAT.
Be able to work under pressure, manage and prioritise time and workload efficiently and effectively.
Sage line 50 experience.
To have good organisation skills.
Taking charge of accounts dept.
Self-motivated and disciplined.
To be able to work correctly, efficiently and with accuracy.

Salary Band: GBP24,000-GBP27,000
