CUSTOMS CLERK-Night Shift -We are now recruiting!Working nights on a 4 on 4 off rota,7pm-7am.South Manchester M22. Salary Band GBP25,000-GBP27,000 plus benefits, plus position will be hybrid once induction period is completed and plus more perks ahead!!
This role involves;
Ensuring all customs clearance declarations are submitted in a timely and accurate manner.
Support the Customs Clearance Coordinators to ensure all consignments are customs cleared in a timely manner working to the prescribed Service Level Agreement with the Client.The management of transit documents allowing goods to move through countries to the end destination. UCR Management.Maintain client Customs Warehouse records.Invoices.
Requirements-Experience-Skills
Previous Customs Clearance experience is desirable.
Good Knowledge Customs Logistics/Freight Forwarding.
Great communication skills (verbal/written).
Good working knowledge of IT systems including MS Word, Excel.
Customs Declaration software-Cargowise (Great Advantage).
Able to grasp procedures/processes promptly.
Able to work as part of a team.
