Job Description
Transport Planner/ Relief Class 1 Driver-Available position now!
To start with
45 hours per week 06:00hrs to 16:00hrs (9 hrs 1hr lunch)
Salary is GBP32,420 per annum hours
This role attracts a shift premium of GBP8.00 per day overtime paid at time and a half, holidays 25 days plus stats plus some more to be discussed at the end!
Brief roll profile

Route planning
Distribution of work which comes in overnight to the designated runs
Compiling loading list for the warehouse.
Preparing paperwork for the drivers.
Briefing drivers on the daily workload.
Liaising with other DGF offices regarding dally workloads.
Finalising & collating driver paperwork before departure.
Once all this is completed revert back to a driving roll covering any local bulk deliveries or collections
Generally, it will be a temp control collection from Wrexham on a daily basis.
Reporting station is Trafford Park M17.
Requirements/Other

Proven track record of experience in same or similar role
Valid C + E licence
Valid CPC and Digi Card
No min number of years experience but must pass assessment
5-year work history (gaps over 28 need a gap reference)
DBS Check will be done during vetting
Current C/O aviation security cert (the old Level D) - can be done during vetting
