Job Description
Job Purpose / Summary:
This role will be located within the Product & Procurement Team, working closely with the E-Solutions, Sales, Ops & Contract Logistics Teams to oversee their daily task & help improve our E-Solutions service offering.
This position requires good planning & organizational skills to prioritize the teams daily tasks and support the business service requirements. This role requires a good understanding of the E-Commerce industry & marketplace
This role will report directly to the E-Solutions Product Manager
Key Functions / Areas of Responsibility:
Parcel System Management (I360)
· Work with the I360 team to develop & test additional system function & features
· Create SOPs / Training Manuals with team covering all areas
Product Development
· Work with our Sales & Contract teams to ensure Product offering in line with customer expectations
· Streamline and enhance current Products & services offered
· Create SOPs
· Help support & create Product related documents detailing Services being offered
Carrier Management / Procurement
· Develop relationships with existing suppliers while finding new suppliers who can meet our clients needs more effectively and efficiently
· Negotiate rates & monitor contract renews
· Carrier Invoice reconcile (System I360)
· Escalate issues / Claims
Customer Implementation
· Onboard new customers
· Beta testing where necessary
Operational
· Creating outbound/inbound consignments
Customer Service
· Following up missing parcels
· Following up claims
Sales Support
· Quotes for Sales for new business
· Quotes for general courier work
The hours are 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday
Salary up to GBP38K depending on experience + company benefits
25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
