AIRFREIGHT IMPORT KEY ACCOUNT OPERATOR – FREIGHT FORWARDING

Offering a salary of £25,000 - £35,000 - Based on experience

Based in Coventry / Warwickshire

Import & Export Operations

International business / Global Key Account

A role has become available for an AIRFREIGHT IMPORT KEY ACCOUNT OERATOR to join their busy Airfreight Import department handling the Import Operations for a large Key Account Customers.

This is working with a large Global Freight Forwarding, Logistics and Supply Chain organisation with offices across the world responsible for the Import & Export of Airfreight, Seafreight and Trailer Freight operations.

Role responsibilities include

• Managing Key Customer relationships, KPI’s and SLA’s
• Managing Airfreight Import shipments for the account from start to finish
• Managing any problems that arrive
• Updating Customer contacts with shipments details and forecasts
• Ensuring the customer reporting function is completed accurately
• Arranging the delivery of Airfreight shipments as per requirements
• Handling all aspects of Key Account customer service.
• Creating and opening Airfreight Import files
• Obtaining Customs Clearance instructions
• Ensuring correct requirements are met for HMRC
• To complete all invoice processing

This role requires a candidate who possesses excellent communication and customer service skills and a clear understanding of Airfreight Import operations.

Previous experience of Key Account operations/management would be advantageous.
