Job Description
PART TIME Dispatcher-Logistics is wanted to hop on and join this dynamic and vibrant station based in Leeds LS8; you will be assigned initially to a fixed term contract with plenty of scope to follow. Monday to Friday. From 4pm to 8pm.
The role entails the following;
Ensure pick-up requests are dispatched promptly and professionally to drivers.
Provide all pertinent shipment information to drivers.
Accurately record and time stamp all pick-up information.
Take driver check requests, follow-up with drivers and then advise Customer Service requester.
Organization and dispatch of pick-ups in a manner that allows maximum driver efficiency.
Stay current with operation sort changes and cut-off times.
Proactively manage customer perception of and level of satisfaction with our service.
Skills/Requirements/Additional
Some Logistics operations -Preferred
Courtesy and attention to detail
Self-motivated with a can do attitude
Able to function in a fast paced environment
Able to use own initiative and be a team player
Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
Able to work under pressure, flexible to the needs of the business and be self-motivated
Hourly Pay: GBP10.20-GBP12.70
