is up to 30K depending on your experience but you will need to be able to drive and own a car.
The working week is any 5 days over 7. Restaurant shifts are covered between 6.00am - 10.00pm

We are working with a medium size Freight Forwarder, who are looking to recruit an Senior Import/Export Operations Clerk.
After 6 months this role could move to a Supervisory role for the right person.
Role includes:
Overseeing a busy department
Supervising and training a team of 4
Complete customs entries from start to finish
Ensure a smooth and timely customs process flow is completed
Process Sea/air/road Freight Import and Export customs entries
Ensure accurate data is entered on customs software
Completing freight bookings
Arranging documentation
Proficient with MCP/Destin8, CCS and CNS software to complete customs entries
Contacting importers to establish their clearance instructions
ASM/Sequoia software experience will be a great advantage
Strong communication skills
Dealing with escalated problems
Liaising with HMRC
Interact with customs authorities to address any issues/questions that may arise during the clearing process
Keep up to date on all regulatory requirements Essential Skills & Experience:-
Good knowledge of customs legislations
Knowledge of Incoterms
Excellent PC skills
It is important that the you have good reading and comprehension skills. Must have excellent writing skills and be able to prepare clear and concise communications for team members/customers and HMRC.
