Control of all goods received, handled and despatched using customers own WMS (SAP) and UKTMS warehouse system. Special emphasis on the need to accurately recognise, label and allocate specific items of stock
Compliance with all ISO, company and legal requirements with special attention to aviation and premises security and health and safety. There will be a requirement to assist in the packing/unpacking of high value scientific equipment and possibly, the handling of Dangerous Goods
Strict compliance with customer service and quality requirements. Ensure that all service failures, damage, discrepancies and incidents are acted on and reported to Supervisor.
Maintain inventory levels by strict adherence to the defined processes
Daily Cycle counts
The position will bring the employee into close contact with the customer and therefore requires sound communicational skills and image awareness
Full compliance with warehouse and forecourt image.
We are looking for someone with a good all round knowledge of both processing shipments by Air to destinations across the globe.
At least 2 years minimum experience in international logistics is preferred with a heavy influence on high levels of customer service.
Work in harmony with our internal and external client to deliver the very excellent customer support and service.
Ensure all enquiries and other communications are actioned promptly and efficiently.
Administer Standard operating procedures as defined by the client.
