We are working with a well known global Freight Forwarding and Logistics organisation to recruit an SEAFREIGHT IMPORT OPERATOR to join a busy and efficient SEAFREIGHT IMPORT division, who possesses proven experience in FREIGHT FORWARDING operations.
This is a demanding role handling SEAFREIGHT IMPORT OPERATIONS for Import global shipments for some of their most prestigious Customers and Accounts.
The role will require a Freight Forwarding candidate who has extensive knowledge and experience of handling SEAFREIGHT IMPORT OPERATIONS from start to finish. Able to communicate across all levels with internal and external customers, Shipping Lines, overseas agents and network partners etc, who can work off their own initiative and as part of a busy and friendly team.
SEAFREIGHT TEAM LEADER - Imports & Exports
£28,000 to £30,000 – Depending on experience
Supervising a small experienced Seafreight Team

We are eager to recruit a SEAFREIGHT TEAM LEADER to work for a Freight Forwarding & Logistics organisation, overseeing and driving forward the Seafreight division.
This is a brand new and exciting opportunity, for a candidate who has worked and gained their experience in SEAFREIGHT IMPORTS and/or EXPORTS and is looking for the next step in their career.
Actively involved in the day to day operation of a busy Seafreight department and working closely with an experienced team of Operators, handling IMPORT & EXPORT FCL & LCL shipments. Also responsible for meeting with customers, growing and building strong working relationships, handling any issues that may arise as well as driving the department forward through proactive customer service and commercial activities.
Working closely with the Operations Manager of the AIR & SEA FREIGHT division, this is an ideal opportunity for a candidate who is already in the position of Supervisor / Team Leader or a candidate who is looking to take the next step in their career. The role is leading a team of experienced Seafreight Operators, showing flexibility and adaptability to any given scenario and growing the department for the future.
Previous experience of working in SEAFREIGHT is essential for this role, along with a positive and energetic approach to work, excellent customer service and communication skills, with a passion and desire to succeed. Previous supervisor level experience is desired though not essential.
