This vacancy is based in Sunbury on Thames and our client is looking for an experienced Accounting person to deal with the general accounting work of the company.

Key tasks:

Reconcile invoices received with orders and statement and prepare for payment
Process payment of invoices
Make payment runs using BACS and Chaps

Reconcile supplier statements
Process sales and purchase invoices on a weekly basis
Quarterly VAT returns

Candidate profile:
Must have complete working experience with Sage 50 Accounting system - min. 3 years
Demonstrate a successful track record

Strategic, consistent and disciplined approach to work methodology
Challenge the status quo in order to create continuous improvement
Brings a sense of urgency to situations and manages them through to achieve goals
PC literate, including office products and bespoke database solutions

Senior Air Export Clerk

Excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Air Export Clerk to join this very well established and reputable Freight Forwarder based on Colnbrook.

Our client is seeking candidates with a minimum of 3-5 years experience within Air Exports, this will be a senior role within the department assisting the department manager and providing guidance to less experienced members of the Export team.

Operational duties will include:

Accepting new Export bookings
Booking space with airlines
Arranging haulage
Creating Export documentation (HAWB/MAWB etc)
Export customs entries
Pre-alerting overseas agents
File billing
General customer service, providing shipment updates etc

Hours are Monday to Friday 0900-1730
