We are working with a large Global Freight Forwarding and Logistics organisation to recruit a new member of staff to join their Logistics Supply Chain division as a INTERNATIONAL LOGISTICS OPERATOR. This position is able to offer an immediate start and is a 12 Month Maternity Contract.

Able to offer an immediate start, it is paying a salary circa £24,000 - £26,000, This will commence as a temporary contract and is a 12 month contract to cover Maternity Leave.

The role will be to join an expanding and developing division of a successful organisation working with a large Global Key Account customer, controlling and co-ordinating the International shipments for Import, Export and Cross trade movements of global freight.

Day to day duties of an INTERNATIONAL LOGISTICS OPERATOR will include:

  • Liaising with Customers
  • Planning movement of Ocean Freight & Air Freight according to Key Account customer requirements
  • Communication with overseas shipping points and 3rd party carriers
  • Processing Logistics administration
  • Answering customer and supplier queries and enquiries via email and telephone
  • Updating spreadsheets and KPI reports with accurate data
  • Maintain operational documentation and registers
  • Organisational of special shipments on request
  • Preparing arrival and departure statistics

The successful candidate is required to have worked in the LOGISTICS, SUPPLY CHAIN or FREIGHT FORWARDING industry. Based in Bletchley (MK3)We have an immediate opening for a TEMPORARY WAREHOUSE FLT OPERATOR to work for our client who is based in Bletchley (MK3). This position has an immediate opening and is for the next 2 months minimum, offering a salary of £8.50ph to £9.50ph.

The role of TEMPORARY WAREHOUSE FLT OPERATOR requires a Warehouse operator who has experience and a valid license to drive a COUNTERBALANCE FORKLIFT TRUCK, ideally experience and a valid license to also drive a REACH FORKLIFT TRUCK and a Manual Handling accreditation.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm, with potential overtime on a weekend as and when required.

Only candidate with a Vali Counterbalance FLT license and Manual Handling certificate would be considered for the role.

We are seeking a candidate who possesses excellent Customer Service skills, able to communicate effectively across all levels, an excellent telephone manner, confident in their approach and always striving to offer customers and colleagues the highest level of service. Working within the Logistics & Distribution Department of a Global Freight Forwarding and Logistics organisation the role of LOGISTICS CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST will be to;

  • Liaise with internal and external customers and advise of booking receipts,
  • Confirm Freight details and establish any special requests/requirements,
  • Input all booking data on to an in-house system and generate reports,
  • Trace and track freight keeping customers updated with its status,

The role will be to work in a busy and fast paced AIRFREIGHT EXPORT operation, handling EXPORT AIRFREIGHT shipments from start to finish.

Duties will include cutting MAWB’s and HAWB’s, raising Documentation, liaising with Airlines, customers and hauliers, making bookings, arranging collections and deliveries, Customs Entries as well as raising and passing invoices for each shipment file.

An element of training can be offered for the right candidate though previous Freight Forwarding experience in Airfreight Exports is required.

We are seeking to source a FREIGHT/SHIPPING INVOICE ADMINISTRATOR to work for a Global Freight & Logistics organisation on an ongoing Temporary with an immediate start.

We require a candidate to work in a ACCOUNTS/FINANCE ADMINISTRATION role in the Freight Forwarding, Shipping, Logistics or Supply Chain industry. Who processes strong Excel skills, a keen eye for detail, good understanding of Sales & Purchase ledger, invoice checking, invoice discrepancy/investigating.

The day to day duties of the FREIGHT/SHIPPING INVOICE ADMINISTRATOR will include:

  • Check and verify INVOICE costings for freight shipments, storage and warehouse etc against shipping files and systems
  • Identify errors and raise queries, investigate and resolve queries relating to charges and invoices and update systems with correct information
  • Complete Invoice and Finance reports, work to deadlines to complete all invoice passing and work to a time frame for resolving discrepancies.

Previous experience of working in Freight Forwarding, Shipping, Imports/Exports would be an advantage for this role along with excellent attention to detail & Excel skills, strong administration, communication and organisational abilities.
