TEMPORARY FREIGHT/SHIPPING ADMINISTRATOR– Freight Forwarding & Shipping

£9.00 – £10.00 per hour

Immediate Start – Min 4 to 8 weeks

Based in Birmingham (B6)

We are working with a large Freight Forwarding and Logistic organisation and seeking to recruit a TEMPORARY FREIGHT/SHIPPING ADMINISTRATOR to assist in the day to day Freight Forwarding office and administrational duties.

We require a candidate who is immediately available for employment, with excellent attention to detail, strong Administration abilities and who is good with numbers. The position is based in Birmingham (B6) and has free parking.

The duties will be to assist in the smooth running of a busy, fast paced Freight Forwarding/Shipping office and duties will include;

  • Filing, checking all shipping documentation is correct and present,
  • Checking supplier invoice against shipments files and passing for payment,
  • Date entry and updating systems
  • Answering customer enquiries
  • General office administration

Offering an immediate start and this contract will last 4 – 8 weeks, possible permanent opportunities available within a great organisation.

The successful candidate will need to have excellent communication and organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, IT literacy as well a hard working and flexible approach.

LGV Class 2 Driver

We are currently recruiting for a class 2 driver to work for one of our major clients based in Colehill.

 

The role is mainly for general haulage but on the odd occassion handball will be required, you will only be expected to do around 8-10 drops a day.

 

Its Monday to Friday 0600 starts.

 

To be considered for the role you must have the following:

 

Class 2 license for at least 2 years have no major points (NO IN, DD, DR or TT) are allowed.

 

To have a five year checkable work history as a DBS may be required.

 

This position can be full time for the right canidate.

Pounder Coating Production Line Operative in Manufacturing Company . Working with approximately 20 other staff using various type of machinery to power coat metals . Training will be given on the machines which include dipping , spraying and baking. You will quality check manually all items before leaving the factory. Can be a working in areas which are very warm. Hours are 08.00 - 17.00 1 hour lunch Monday to Friday. Some overtime can be available.

We are currently recruting for class 1 drivers to work for a local haulier who specialises in General Haulage and Pallet Distribution.

The hours of work are 0600 - 2000 with start times varying finish times throughout the day.

The role will be Monday to Friday and you will be allocated the same vehicle for that week.

There is no handball as the role involves either pallet delivery or General Haulage so a knowledge of using rachet straps is required.

This position can be potentially permanent for the right person.

Due to insurance purposes you must have held your license for 2 years and hold no serious endorsements (IN, TT, MS, DR, DD)

Working 9 to 14 hour shifts, earliest start time is 1.30pm to finish and latest start time is 7.30pm to finish

You will need to have held a C+E licence for a minimum of 12 months
Overall objective: To assist with the smooth running of deliveries from depot to hub.
Main duties/responsibilities:
To complete collection and delivery of goods whilst following company procedures
Ensure goods are safely secured and paperwork is in order
Follow company security procedures
Keep vehicle clean at all times
Perform a vehicle defect report on every company vehicle you use and hand them in
Undertake additional duties, or assist other members of staff, as may be reasonably requested by your Manager or the Directors
Knowledge/understanding required:
Full UK ( C+E ) driving license required.
Smart appearance.
Good Knowledge of the English language CPC, digital tachocard IT knowledge/understanding required
The ability to apply knowledge and understanding to the Job
The ability to communicate effectively with the client and other members of staff in the operations and warehouse departments
