EUROPEAN ROADFREIGHT OPERATOR
Salary: £30,000
Contract: 12 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT.
Based in Tamwoth
Freight Forwarding / Groupage & Full Load
We are looking to recruit a European Road Freight Operator to manage and coordinate international road freight movements.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate international road freight movements (FTL, LTL, groupage)
Plan and book collections and deliveries with carriers and partners
Negotiate rates and manage transport costs
Prepare and maintain accurate transport documentation
Track shipments and proactively manage delays or issues
Communicate regularly with customers and internal departments
Maintain accurate data within operating systems
Identify opportunities to improve service and efficiency
Key Skills & Experience
1–2 years’ experience in European road freight (preferred)
Strong knowledge of road transport operations and documentation
Understanding of Incoterms, ADR, and customs processes
Excellent communication and organisational skills
High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
Proactive, team-focused, and customer-driven approach
