Description
Our client based close to Heathrow are looking to add an experienced Fine Art/Antique/Furniture Packer to their expanding operation

Monday to Friday 08.00 - 17.00

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Professional handling, packing and crating of sensitive and valuable antiques, furniture, sculptures and fine art

Packing and crating for local, domestic and international transport

Professionally and efficiently wrap, load, span, tie in artworks within a truck/container to keep them safe and stable during transport

Inspecting artworks to determine how, where, when, or if, to touch them and how to pack for transport

Efficiently handling paperwork including bills of lading, labelling, timesheets and detailed condition reports with photos

Communicating with operations team throughout the day

Thorough understanding and use of proper packing materials for all surfaces



Key Attributes

Thorough understanding and a previous experience with industry standards for handling, packing, transporting and installing high end furniture, art and antiques

Ability to efficiently wrap/pack sensitive and valuable furniture, works of art and antiques

Be physically fit and have the ability to work comfortably on ladders, scaffolding or mechanized lifts

Professional appearance and demeanour

Familiar with art terminology
