Description: Our client is looking for an experienced Airfreight Operations Specialist to join their team

Job Title: Airfreight Operations Specialist

Location: Slough (Office-based)

Key Responsibilities:

·Manage end-to-end airfreight shipments from booking to final delivery

·Prepare and issue customer quotes

·Arrange transport and coordinate logistics

·Handle airline bookings and liaise with carriers

·Complete and process customs entries accurately

·Prepare and complete air waybills (AWBs) and associated documentation

·Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including dangerous goods handling

Requirements:

·Proven experience in airfreight operations

·Strong knowledge of dangerous goods regulations

·Experience completing air waybills (AWBs)

·Solid understanding of end-to-end freight processes

·Experience with customs procedures and documentation

·Strong organisational and communication skills

·Ability to work independently in an office-based environment

Any experience of Netfreight or Boxtop advantageous

Experience handling export of cars/parts using Carnets desirable

Salary

·GBP35,000.00 - GBP36,000.00 per annum.

Hours

·Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm but must be flexible when busy
