Description
Our client a small Freight Forwarder based near Heathrow is currently recruiting for an Air Export Clerk

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for order management, dealing with customer enquiries, export documentation, customs entries, raising of AWBs and work in close cooperation with other offices in the UK. Candidate will have previous Air Export experience and will be familiar with all Export procedures. We are looking for a proactive, organised and punctual, engaged and motivated individual with good attention to detail.

The main part of the role is to arrange export collections for UK based customers, checking collections, raising of export entries, generating AWBs and other administration tasks.



Duties to include:

·Liaise with Operations and overseas offices to ensure customer commitments are delivered.

·Timely and effective communication with customers.

·Effective monitoring to ensure collections are completed with the agreed times.

·Proactive problem solving with customers and colleagues when issues arise.

·Ensure consignments are rated correctly in order to invoice in an accurate and timely manner.

·Provide KPI and reports both externally and internally where required.

·Resolve Credit Management Queries.

·General day to day administration.



Any Pharma experience and DG trained would be an advantage.



Hours are Monday - Friday 08:45 - 17:00 however over time is sometimes required

Salary depending on experience

Car Driver required for the role.

On site free use of exercise facilities.
