Transport Customer Service Clerk



Location: Heathrow Area

Salary: GBP25,000 - GBP30,000 (DOE)

Hours: Monday to Friday | 08:00 - 18:00 (1-hour lunch)



We're currently recruiting for a Customer Service Clerk to join a busy and well-established freight forwarding business.



This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with excellent communication and organisational skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced office environment.



Key Responsibilities:

Recording incoming freight accurately onto the internal system.

Booking transport and collections over the phone.

Updating customer bookings and shipment information.

Responding to customer enquiries via email and telephone.

Providing administrative support to the operations team.

Maintaining accurate records and ensuring a high level of customer service.



About You:

Previous customer service or administration experience is beneficial but not essential.

Confident communicating with customers by phone and email.

Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.

Well organised with excellent attention to detail.

Able to work efficiently in a busy team environment.

A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
