Salary: GBP26,000 - GBP32,000 (DOE) + Night Shift Allowance (if applicable)
Hours: Monday to Friday | Night Shift
We're currently recruiting for a Night Customer Service Clerk to join a busy and well-established freight forwarding business.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment and enjoys providing exceptional customer service while supporting overnight freight operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately record incoming freight onto the internal system.
Coordinate overnight transport bookings and collections.
Update shipment information and customer records.
Respond to customer enquiries via telephone and email.
Liaise with warehouse staff, drivers and operational teams to ensure the smooth movement of freight.
Complete general administration and maintain accurate operational records.
Deliver a high standard of customer service while working to strict deadlines.
About You:
Previous customer service, freight forwarding or administration experience is advantageous but not essential.
Excellent communication skills with a professional telephone manner.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Able to work independently as well as part of a team during night operations.
Reliable, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
