  • Provide day-to-day HR administration across the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contracts, employee changes, absence, family leave and leavers.

  • Complete right-to-work and pre-employment checks and maintain accurate, confidential employee records across HR, payroll and time & attendance systems.

  • Support HR policies and employee relations, including investigations, disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence processes.

  • Prepare HR correspondence, meeting notes, case files and action trackers as required.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality and escalate complex HR, payroll, employee relations, data protection or statutory matters to the HR Manager.

About You

  • At least 2 years' experience in an HR and payroll role.

  • Strong end-to-end payroll experience, including weekly and monthly payrolls.

  • Good knowledge of PAYE, National Insurance, pensions and statutory payments.

  • Experience using HR, payroll and time and attendance systems.

  • Strong Excel, numerical and analytical skills.

  • Excellent organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

  • Good communication skills and the confidence to query incomplete or incorrect information.

  • A high level of discretion when dealing with confidential information.

  • Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding and agency personnel.

Desirable

  • Experience with OneAdvanced, Flexipay, TMS or SAP SuccessFactors.

  • Experience working in a manufacturing, shift-based or fast-paced environment.

  • A recognised HR, payroll or CIPD qualification.
