Description
We are looking for an Operations Team Leader to join a small Forwarder.



Job Summary:

As an Operations Team Leader at the company, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the freight forwarding team, ensuring smooth and efficient transportation processes, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, including time critical jobs.

You will lead a team of professionals, coordinate with clients and vendors, and ensure that all shipments are handled in compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Experience

Previous experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain management, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team leadership role handling time critical movements or AOG's.

Preferred Qualifications:

·Experience with both import and export operations.

·Familiarity with hazardous materials (HAZMAT) shipping & DG.



Hours: Mon-Fri (9am - 17.30) with weekday coverage and weekends on a rota basis.

Salary: GBP30,000 - GBP35,000
