- Description
- We are currently looking for a Multi Modal Operations Executive for our client near Heathrow.
Working within our operations service team, all aspects of freight forwarding, delivering excellent operational service in line with Company guidelines, legislation, and standards.
MAIN DUTIES WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:-
1.Arrange and have oversight of export, import and UK domestic operations from start to finish whether this be AIR SEA or ROAD/COURIER.
2.Investigate and plan most appropriate route for shipments
3.Complete International Shipping and Customs Documentation
4.Complete costing & billing for both import and export jobs
5.Work in accordance with international regulations
6.Maintain communication and control through all phases of the journey
7.Work closely with customers, colleagues and third parties to ensure deadlines are met
PERSONAL SPECIFICATION:-
8.Experience in Freight Forwarding essential, ideally in all modes Import and Export but will consider candidates with Export Air/Road experience.
9.Strong interpersonal and communication skills
10.Well organised and creative who has a positive enthusiasm and pragmatic approach
11.Detail oriented with strong planning, organisational and analytical skills
12.A motivated self-starter with a strong drive to support the company in its growth initiatives
13.Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities
14.Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook and in-house systems like Cargowise an advantage
15. Ideally you will have your own transport due to location of company
The salary will be around GBP30K - GBP35K.
The hours are 9am to 5.30pm Monday to friday but flexibility is required.
