Description
We are working with a Medium size Freight Forwarder who are looking to recruit an Import / Export Customs Clerk.

We are looking for an individual who is looking for a career, Previos experience required , Happy to work within a Small team and when not busy help out other areas.

Working Monday to Friday - all days are office based.

Role Involves:

·Complete customs entries from start to finish.

·Ensure a smooth and timely customs process flow is completed.

·Process Sea/Air/Road Freight Import and Export customs entries.

·Ensure accurate data is entered on customs software.

·Arranging documentation.

·Proficient with MCP/Destin8, CCS and CNS software to complete customs entries.

·Contacting importers to establish their clearance instructions.

·ASM/Sequoia experience is advantage.

·Strong, Clear communication skills.

·Dealing with escalated problems.

·Liaising with HMRC.

·Interact with customs authorities to address any issues/questions.

·Keep up to date on all regulatory requirements.

·Good knowledge of customs legislations.

·Good PC skills.

·Knowledge of Incoterms.

Salary depends on experience.
