- We're looking for an Export Airfreight Coordinator to join this exciting Freight agent locally based
Successful candidate will have a basic understanding of Export Airfreight operations, support will be given where needed.
Duties to include:
·Coordinate export (90%) and import (10%) shipments from the UK, in good time and within budget, and working across different freight methods (airfreight, roadfreight, and courier) Imports Desirable not essential
·Prepare all documentation required for the shipments to go smoothly through customs (including AWBs, T1s, POAs, CBP, Security Declarations, Art Declarations, Lacey Acts)
·Manage the export customs declarations for your shipments (from free circulation, bond and temporary admission) in eCustoms via CDS, taking care to use the correct tariff codes and CPCs
·Provide customer service support to the individuals importing your shipments overseas, offering advice to them on how to complete required customs documents
·Manage any overseas agents we work with to complete the shipment, such as white glove partners
·Monitor orders with reports on our internal systems, providing updates to the system
·Troubleshoot and remove roadblocks, solve complex freight situations
·Suggest and implement process improvements within the Freight & Customs team
·Work closely and collaboratively with our Customer Care and Warehouse teams
Criteria - must have:
·Working 5 days on site (no remote) at Hayes
·Living no more than 40-50 min away by transport or car
·Not many CV gaps
·Some export experience
·Air freight especially
·Happy to do courier.

·Excellent communication skills
·Proactive, fast-learner, autonomous
Working hours:
Mon-Fri 8:30am - 5:30pm
Salary: cGBP33k depending on experience
