In order to be a successful Assistant Manager you will:
Support the General Manager in leading a team of guest focused individuals.
Support the General Manager in creating a guest focused atmosphere where service comes first in a fun and professional environment for team and guests.
Organise, promote and deliver special events and marketing activities to maximise footfall
Support the General Manager in achieving your budgets and margins, controlling stock and daily costs.
Actively managing food service and menu feedback alongside the head chef
Support the General Manager with compliance in line with food safety and health & safety legislation and licensing laws.
Have high energy levels as being an Assistant Manager, should not only be fun but hands on, varied and fast paced as no two days are ever the same

The role will be working within the Ocean Export department where they deal with both FCL and LCL container freight shipments to Worldwide markets.
Duties will include:
Opening job file
Put Export bookings on the system
Contacting shipping lines to book containers for the customer.
Liaising with customers and hauliers to organise Export collections from customers premises to relevant ports.
Liaison with overseas office and agents.
Producing export documentation
Customs export entries
Charge out files
Keep customers informed of any problems that may arise.
Any other duties required by management.
Min of 2 years in Freight Forwarding Ocean Freight Preferred.

Export Documentation Clerk
Receive B/L instructions from clients, sent to back office for entering in the system, monitor receipt, when received, check for accuracy and sent to client for approval
Raise invoices and issue credits to overseas agents
Complete export entries
Complete AMS entries
Check vessels have sailed and issue docs
Front of House - Bar & Waiting - based RH5 area
Some experience in bar and restaurant work would be helpful, however, a great personality and the ability to mix with every guest is more important for our bar and waiting team as full training will be given.

This role is for a Hotel Bar/Restaurant Assistant in the Bracknell area near Windsor & Maidenhead.
We are currently looking for a friendly, outgoing full time Bar/Restaurant person to work as part of our dynamic waiting team at a Country House Hotel.
Experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.
Competitive Salary plus uniform, meals on shift and 30% Food and Beverage Discount in our Restaurant. Due to the location of the hotel there is limited public transport so the ideal candidate should be able to drive due to the start and finish times of the different shifts.
Hours of work
Rotas will be on a shift basis to include the following shifts;
- Early - 6.45am - 3.00pm
- Late - 3.00pm - Finish (11.00pm normally unless there is a function where
this could be as late as 1.30am)
- Split Shifts - Normally 10.30am - 2.30pm & 6.30pm - 11.00pm (these may
vary from time to time)
- The role does require you to be able to work weekends, bank holidays,
Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Eve & New Years Day.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. You will targeted to generate annual new sales from International Freight Forwarding generating a gross profit (GP) of at least 2 x your employment cost
2. Experience of internal or external sales in our core road freight markets is essential. Having some operations experience would be seen as an advantage.
3. The ability to price up and calculate your own quotes is essential however full support and back up will be given.

New vacancy with a small/medium sized Freight Forwarding company located close to Feltham/Ashford
This is an Export Coordinator position where you will be handling the Export of cargo by Air, Sea & Road. The majority of shipments will be Air freight so interested candidates will need a minimum of 3 years Air Export experience.
Any experience exporting goods to the USA will be an advantage.
Duties will include:
Liaising with shippers
Booking space with carriers
Cutting export documentation (HAWB/BOL)
Completing export customs entries
Providing pre-alert documents to destination offices

This is a 37.5 hour per week position, Mon-Fri with shifts of 0800-1630, 0900-1730 & 0930-1800

Update GCCS (internal complaints tool) with all required inputs including root cause and solution when assigned.
Support the measurement of Key Performance Indicators.
Contribute to the First Choice continuous improvement program.
Participate in the Weekly Team briefing sessions.
Complete all statutory and mandatory training.
One years experience within the Freight Forwarding Industry.
5 GCSEs including Maths and English at Grade C or above - or equivalent desirable.
Experience of HMRC procedures.
Clear and concise communication skills (written and spoken).
Ability to follow processes.

Inter-personal skills - Influencing, communication, relationship management, cultural awareness and ability to work across teams.
Knowledge of Freight Forwarding industry: Exports, exports - Must have 5 year referencing with no gaps.

Import LCL Ocean Operator
Manage import process start to finish via Topaz system
Liaise with UK warehouses/clearing agents to achieve devan target of 2 working days from vessel arrival
Send NOA and invoices to UK importers prior to shipments arriving
Ensure cost estimates are entered on all jobs within the correct accounting month
Check purchase invoices are correct on receipt. Pass all correct invoices for payment and dispute anything that is not as agreed.
Ensure all operational issues are clearly documented in writing, keeping supervisor in copy of all correspondence
Access invoice queries on a daily basis via Topaz, resolve any queries and forward anything that is on your list in error to correct party
Close files after checking everything has been charged/costed and maximum profitability is achieved
Keep clients SOPs updated
Answer telephone in a timely manner
Must have previous experience within import freight forwarding.
