We have an exciting opportunity for an Internal Sales Co-ordinator, working for a medium sized Freight Forwarder.
The role is working alongside the UK Sales team to facilitate sales leads, identify opportunities, provide quotations to existing customers and new prospective clients. Engage in rate negotiation with suppliers and customers, Internal sales mailbox monitoring and maintenance, Sales proposal maintenance, customer liaison both Internal and external.
Our client is looking for similar experience and ideally previous freight experience.
Role involves:
· Source best pricing quotation in line with customers requests.
· Respond to customers requests/ proposals.
· Identify potential opportunities within existing customer base and prospect customer requests.
· Liaise with all parts of the business to be able to meet the requirements set out in the customer request.
· Present quotations, proposals and solutions using agreed format.
· Keep up to date with rate card, suppliers rates etc.
· Follow up on quotations supplied to customers.
· Research and Identity potential new prospective customers.
· Lead Generation.
· Up -sell opportunities to both existing and prospective customers.
Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm
Salary depends on experience.
