We are recruiting on behalf of an established Global freight & logistics company based in Colnbrook.
The successful candidate will carry out dutys relation to the distribution process within a busy air/ocean, road, Perishables & Healthcare freight warehouse.
SHIFT: 4on-4off, 06.00 to 18.00
SALARY: GBP24,000.00-GBP26,000.00 per year
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Build pallets/ULDs ready for exports.
· Breaking down and checking in imports
· Operate forklifts when required.
· Control hazardous substances in the area in accordance with EU/EK legislation.
· Work within a Temperature controlled zone in accordance with GDP legislation.
· Any other reasonable duties, which may be required by the warehouse manager & Team Leader.
· Be responsible to maintain the highest level of cleanliness, Health & Safety & Aviation Security.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Previous airfreight handling experience desirable, preferably within a major freight-forwarding concern.
· Reach / counterbalance forklift licences.
· Cargo Operative trained.
· X-Ray & ETD (Training will be supplied)
· Previous exp with Warehouse Management Systems is Advantageous
