Transport Admin/Debrief Clerk
Our client is seeking an experienced Transport Administrator / Debrief Clerk / Logistics Administrator to join a busy Transport Department within a Distribution Centre. As a Logistics Administrator / Customer Service / Customer Support you will be responsible for the following:
·Operating the brief/ debrief desk and ensuring that excellent customer service.
any driver or delivery issues that may develop during shift.
administration duties supporting the Transport / Warehouse department.
correct paperwork and PODs are issued and returned.
with the Warehouse and other departments to ensure any dispatch matters are dealt with and managed as required in a timely manner.
liaise with drivers throughout the shift and obtain updates and progress of delivery time scales, relaying feedback to the relevant departments.
·Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
individual who has the ability to problem solve.
good understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel.
of working within a transport environment (desirable).
telephone manner is essential for the role.
written and oral communication skills.
shift 12.00hrs to 18.30hrs
