Job Description
We are actively seeking an Airfreight Operations Specialist to join this Freight agent locally based near LHR,
Ideal candidate will be confident and confident in all areas of the operations both Import and Export (Air, Road and Sea)
Duties will include: -
· Managing agents and customers directly.
· Liaising with customers for every aspect of their shipment.
· Finding solutions by Air, Road & Sea for highly regulated shipments.
· Making export airline bookings with airlines.
· Tracking shipments and providing updates.
· Customer invoicing and creditor invoice processing in a timely manner.
· Assisting with packing, documentation, driving, warehousing and other tasks from time to time.
The successful applicant : -
· Knowledge of Airfreight Operations within a Freight Forwarder.
· DG accredited would be an advantage.
· Computer literacy
· Good communication skills
· Attention to detail and be able to work independently as well as working within a team environment.
Job Type: Full-time - Monday to Friday 9-5.30
Salary: GBP23,000.00-GBP33,000.00 per year
