Fine Arts Operations Manager

Heathrow | GBP40,000 GBP50,000



We are working with a leading high-value goods forwarder based near Heathrow who are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join their growing Fine Arts division.



This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced logistics professional to move into the specialist Fine Arts and high-value sector. Previous Fine Arts experience is not essential candidates with a strong background in General Freight or another operational logistics vertical will be considered.



Key Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day operations of Fine Arts and high-value shipments from origin through to final delivery.

Coordinate international air, road and specialist transport movements.

Liaise with clients, overseas offices, hauliers, airlines, agents and other logistics partners.

Oversee shipment planning, documentation, collections, deliveries and customs requirements.

Ensure all shipments are handled securely and in line with customer requirements and agreed SOPs.

Manage operational issues and proactively resolve any delays or challenges.

Build strong relationships with customers and overseas partners.

Ensure accurate records are maintained and shipments are managed within agreed KPIs.

Support the wider Fine Arts team with complex or time-critical shipments.

Occasionally travel overseas to support clients and operations at exhibitions, art fairs and other events.



About You

Previous experience in a logistics/freight forwarding operations role.

Fine Arts experience is desirable but not essential.

General Freight, Air Freight, Road Freight, Events, High Value Goods or another specialist logistics background is welcomed.

Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.

Confident communicating with customers, suppliers and international partners.

Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Commercial awareness and a customer-focused approach.

Comfortable travelling overseas occasionally for exhibitions and events.



What's on Offer

Salary of GBP40,000 GBP50,000 depending on experience.
