- We are looking for a driven Airfreight Business Development Manager to join an established Freight Forwarder.
Please note:
- If you have a Freight Operations background and are looking to move into Sales you may be considered
- If you have great Sales experience in another industry and willing to learn a new industry you may also be considered
Responsibilities:
-Generate leads and cold call prospective customers
-Create Custom from your pipeline
-Meet clients face to face, over the phone / Teams
-Build/develop relationships with clients
-Understand the needs of your clients and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet/exceed these
What you will need to be successful:
-An excellent telephone manner
-Strong interpersonal skills
-Good written and verbal communication skills
-Good IT skills
-Decision-making skills
-Initiative and the confidence to start from scratch
