We are working with an established Freight Forwarder who are looking to recruit a Time Critical Operations Coordinator.
The role is responsible for processing shipments and all related activities from start to finish. Contacting clients, carriers and potential clients daily. Taking a proactive approach in providing quality client service. Working in a face paced environment.
Strong knowledge and background in time critical operations processed and require.
4 on 4 off days either 7am-7pm or 9am -9pm.
Role Involves:
· Good Knowledge of UK Import/Export operations and regulations.
· Knowledge of AOG and other Time Critical services.
· Prepare documentation and customs formalities.
· Start to finish experience.
· KPI adherence - DNI/LNR/cost accuracy/ROTP.
· Communicate with clients and overseas agents regarding disposition of Freight.
· (ie Track& Trace, routine, dispatched and quotations)
· Communicate with vendors/suppliers regarding rates, dispatch, and updates.
· Ensure Compliance in line with company and industry policies.
Experience needed.
· 2 years + AOG or Time critical logistic sector.
· Good knowledge of Import/ Exports starts to finish.
· Negotiating Skills.
· Willing to travel as required.
· Computer Literate, knowledge of MS Office, Internet.
· Good Communication skills.
Salary depends on experience, plus a 10% shift allowance.
