Ocean Export Operator – Freight Forwarding

Salary of £26,000 - £30,000 depending on experience.

Office-based, 37.5 hours per week, working in Birmingham.

The role of Ocean Export Operator is working for a leading, Birmingham-based, multimodal Freight Forwarding and Logistics organisation.

The role is a full-time position to work as part of a busy and efficient Ocean Export department where you will be responsible for handling all elements of Seafreight Exports for both FCL and LCL shipments.

Managing an Export Ocean file from start to finish.

Duties will include:

·Taking bookings and opening customer files.

·Liaising with Shipping Lines and making reservations.

·Arranging collections and deliveries.

·Raising and producing all Ocean Export Documentation.

·Completing Ocean Export Customs Entries.

·Raising invoices and billing out.

·Resolving any customer service issues which may arise throughout the shipment.

We are seeking an experienced Ocean Export Operator who has gained hands on experience of working in freight forwarding operations and is conversant in all aspects of Ocean Exports.
